  • Non-compete clause should be ilegal. Most employees are just workers who come for the paycheck and if they get fired laid off, the employment contract is OVER and the employee should be able to find work and do whateve they want. These contracts are like employees are slaves. It would be like hiring a plumber and saying the plumber can't work for somebody else. Unless the employer gaurantees lifetime employment and salary is above average at least three times, these laws are stupid especially if employees are low level min, wage workers are contract workers. And most these companies don't have any trade secrets that competitors don't know. Its a stupid law by employers who think they own the workers.
