God this is all Deja Vu
Didnt we have the same sort of arguments when firefox first came on the scene and competed with IE4 ??
Its horses for course.
Chrome is a fast internet browser and nothing more.
Firefox is an online host of tools.
You use what you want to use or even better use both like i do.

Too bad almost all javascript heavy sites do not function properly with Chrome. Otherwise it's such an awesome browser.

If IE users use it mostly because it's pre-installed, why wouldn't that make a pre-installed Google Chrome browser a main competitor for IE's users???

I find google chrome a very useful and fast browser as comparing to internet explorer and firefox. One thing which I have noticed on my computer is that as I use internet explorer and firefox to explore web pages my windows slow down as I open more pages but using google chrome it doesn’t happened! my windows performance increased using google's new browser CHROME I LOVE IT!

I'm very Disappointed that Google’s Chrome browser does not support MathML (Math Markup Language). Mozilla’s Firefox does!!

On the other consider that most people possess some level of frustration with Internet Explorer. Those that are most confident, like to tinker with their browser, and are most suceptible to viral marketing seem pretty happy with Firefox. Google's threat is the consciousness of Google in the mainstream. The Google browser will fill the same niche as the Mac user running to his friend's house to show of when his friend already has a six channel 2 TB Linux media server in his attic streaming to five or six other media devices.
