However, the negative publicity sure has sparked a lot of interest in the commercial, so I think it's served them well, since they did take steps to help out the villages that they were visiting for the film, and they obviously want to spark some amount of controversy as seen by the use of the word 'Virgins' in the title, which isn't exactly a word that you hear used everyday, especially in advertising.

The idea is that Americans are quick to judge and make assumptions (which is our own fault), so using people in their native clothing sends a much clearer message than having people in blue jeans and a t-shirt but still trying to claim that they're from the remote parts of the world that don't have a Burger King on every street corner. Plus, the full 'documentary' hasn't even debuted yet, so all of this negative publicity seems a bit premature in my opinion. gambling games

I don't think the intent was to say that these people are representatives of their entire country, but instead was to quickly get across the fact that they haven't been exposed to burgers or burger advertising before because they aren't from main street America.

That has just got to be one of the worst ad campaigns that I've heard of in a while. Come on, guys. You really have to set a limit somewhere, and besides, instead of burgers, shouldn't you be giving them something that won't clog up their virgin arteries????

It is always nice to create commercials that are quite out of the box, however one of the things that should always be taken into consideration is the probability of that commercial to be adored by people or be criticized.

Probably, before commercials are made, it should always be made sure that it would not affect people in terms of how they view a certain commercial. It's not their fault that haven't beent exposed to the burger advertising, but that also doesn't mean that the whopper virgins cant take a bite of burger king's best stuff. And besides native people deserve much much more than this if you ask me.

Well a great effort but,, aint this gonaa affect the businness of lonely planet on discovery channel ,, well if we are acting this way there are goin to be no lonely planets left in our world , cutting down trees and forests was not enough ,, so now it opening burger king in places like these , we are noone to affect the simple lives of these people.
