  • Sitting on hands not to write a post agreeing with you guys... I can't say I didn't warn Twitter, but if this keeps up things are going to get ugly.
  • I developed AlphaTwitter which is a similar service to Twitturly. Two months of work, down the drain when the IM/XMPP feed went down. I didn't bother to rewrite the engine to use the Public Feed because of the downtime issues. And now this. It's just sad and definitely dumb.
  • Michael Arrington @techcrunch had a good interview with Evan Williams about "sharing data streams." http://tinyurl.com/TC-EvansInterview I believe that they are now going to rely heavily on the Summize team to manage these issues. They seem to fear losing original traffic?
  • Any chance you can port your AlphaTwitter code to work with identi.ca?
