So far, a thumbs up.

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

I have just published my thoughts in a post at http://www.profy.com/2008/0... and it really looks like I find the learning curve to be pretty difficult. It is cleaner but I see the problem in it being too different.

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

Hopefully this will reduce the stupid apps and it would encourage developers to make REAL apps that are useful.

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

A sure blow against third party apps. I agree, from a development standpoint initially it's not good for developers. However, I think having more integration points like through the Info tab actually makes it better for developers. The more your app can be visible on profiles the better that is - the profile is the most visited part of Facebook.

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

I'm slowly deleting them via the iPhone app :-)

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

geez Duncan, clean out your inbox! :)

Re: The New Facebook will actually come as a surprise

The minimalist interface is a big improvement IMO.
