Skitch is probably my third most frequently used app behind my mail and my browser. I use it mostly for sharing mockups and commenting on designs and didn't even know that it did half the things in this post. Seriously love this tool.

Re: Skitch: Why it’s awesome & 18 great ways to use it

Agree with you Duncan - Skitch is one of those applications that just saves so much time, and works beautifully.

It's invaluable for sorting out design ideas and problems quickly, especially when you have groups of people involved, and allows non-technical people to talk to geeks, and vice-versa.

I agree that friendfeed integration would be a very nice addition, but I actually like the simplicity and legibility of the default font setting.

Re: Skitch: Why it’s awesome & 18 great ways to use it

Definitely agreed. Though my one gripe is the typeface and how there's no option to remove the outlining. Yuck.

Re: Skitch: Why it’s awesome & 18 great ways to use it

Duncan, nicely done. One work around to import images into FriendFeed is to connect it to Mento which dumps into FriendFeed. Hope they will work on tighter integration though.

Re: Skitch: Why it’s awesome & 18 great ways to use it

Hey Duncan, check out Jing Project. I am not affiliated with the company but I think this product rocks! I use it almost daily to clip screen shots, annotate, then send the links to folks. Extremely fast way to crop/annotate/share. Plus it also supports video captures. Best, Olin
