Samsung Internet Enabled Televisions This Year

Samsung will announce at the IFA industry fair in Germany this week that it will start offering internet access in its Series 7, 8 and 9 televisions in Canada, Australia, and Singapore and in selected countries in Europe this year. No word yet on availability in the United States.

i want multiple cameras at sports events, and i want to be the producer and choose how i am looking at them. the same with sound. and multiple channels open at the same time is great, or the audio from one mixed with the visuals of another. or overly the visuals of one on top of another. mashups.

wonder if not going to america is a copyright thing, or a broadband thing, or something else.

I love the idea of internet enabled tv, currently i am actually using my Wii station to surf the net via my TV.
