You don't get it from eating broccoli 8x a day.

It's a good idea for everyone to take a nutritional supplement, but without one, meat eaters on average have seven major nutritional deficiencies (calcium, iodine, vitamin C, vitamin E, fiber, folate, and magnesium) while vegans on average only have three (calcium, iodine, and B12).
Large populations of people are strictly vegetarian and there are no health problems. 40% of the country of India is completely vegetarian -- they have health problems due to poverty, but not because they're vegetarian. Strictly vegetarian religious groups like Seventh Day Adventists in California have been studied and they live 5-7 years longer than similar groups of meat eaters. It's been well-studied and well-proven that eating meat raises your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and several cancers like stomach, colon, and breast cancer.
Eating meat is the new smoking, and even if you cling to meat for your entire life, your children probably won't.
Yes, meat can cause problems for you, but so can a vegetarian/vegan diet if you don't moderate. If we just stopped stuffing our fat faces every waking moment, we'd be fine. With our meat, thank you very much.
Evolution also didn't take into account global warming, for which eating meat (livestock specifically) is the #1 human cause.

I'm glad you're ignorant. Because that frees me from responding to your original nonsense.

And the ignorance reference was just to you and your comments in general.
I'm not "intellectually curious"? Well, I'm glad you have come to yet another amazingly perfect and correct conclusion.
Maybe you should get your IQ tested... I'm betting you're MENSA quality.

Sounds like we should ask BlueCross BlueShield to raise premiums on the poor.
