  • Thanks for the link, Steven. As if last night wasn't amazing enough, this morning around Queen's I saw students in Obama t-shirts and "OBAMA" written in shaving or whipped cream along the sidewalk. Truly amazing. I didn't even see that much interest in the Canadian elections last month!
  • Daryl that is because the Canadian election was a bullshit sham :) In the end the government (and those running) spent $300 million over 6 weeks and nothing has changed and nothing will. As it is Ontario it was announced yesterday will be joining the ranks of the poorest provinces in the country. It is no wonder that we look upon what is happening in the US with a forlorn sense of "damn I wish that was us"

  • Hey Steve, just wanted to stop by and thank you for the quote/link. Right now, there seems to be this resounding feeling of hope. Like a renewed sense of focus to get things back in order. Only time will tell if Obama was filled with hot air and delivers empty promises or he delivers the change that his entire campaign was centered around. I hope the momentum and the feeling of hope continues for a very long time, for the sake of America.

    If something like JFK happens to Obama, I can't comprehend how much of a disaster this would be for the U.S. and its people.
