Ever heard of virtual credit cards? There are quite a few available now, and dare I say, Paypal, offers this service as well.

have you tried to get a virtual credit card?? I have - you need a real credit card and the same applies to the one provided by PayPal.

sadly I haven't, however most debit cards are issued with either a VISA or MasterCard logo on them and will act as those types of cards for purchases. Nice eh?

regrettably bank debit cards (in Canada) don't. Yes you can get Visa/Bank debit cards but if i am not mistake if you don't pass the credit checks for a credit card you won't be eligible for a Visa/Bank debit card. Straight bank debit cards don't work for online sales either AFAIK

yeah. you need the credit card verification code at the back so debit cards work as if they were credit cards. Mexico debit cards (visa ones) have it and can be used with paypal and most online retailers. so i guess the ones from canada don`t have that verification code at the back.

You're whining because Microsoft is supporting credit cards only on their USA site? I have news for you -- 99% of the population has a credit card.
