Meet Wing Wen, the two faced dog

Chinese scientists have unveiled Wing Wen, billed as the worlds first two faced dog.
Wing Wen had a quarter face transplant two years as part of research into human face transplants. Under the surgery, the Beagle received new skin, an ear and eyelids.

  • I can't believe the Sun in Britain treated this as a light-hearted story today. One beagle died here. Their pay-off was: They should call him PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sick
  • OMG HOW CRUEL - has the RSPCA been informed of this gross and inhumane act?

    But they have no animal welfare laws in China....so sad.
  • Very sick. poor animal had to suffer and be like a Frankenstein. I hope they didnt mutilate the healthy dog just for pure research. There are so many disfigured dogs out there, at least they could have helped one of those. By why such a drastic difference in ears? They couldn't find something more similar?
