Will get around to fixing though, it wasn't intentionally dropped.

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

Dan's a very sound operator and doing everything right I think. It's a tough space to crack, but getting News.com.au on board is a big first step.

Where are the 'kwoff it' links on Inquisitr now though?

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

Why bother? Digg already does it. Nice work Australia, late the party as usual.

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

I only just heard about Kwoff when I googled "australian equivalent digg reddit" and up came this article. My first impressions were:
Great, it's active! and.. Bummer, it's chunky, and has mostly mainstream submissions.
Wish it had: more categories, ability to collapse entries ala Reddit so that it's less "chunky", better customising options (colours, filters, etc), the ability to screen/filter australian entries only.

Just my two cents...

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

Thanks for the post and the Kwoff button on Inquisitr Duncan.

I'll be sure to pass on Gregs thoughts on your post.

As for the Kwoff aesthetics, mea culpa, i think i've got to wake up to the fact i'm the only one who likes it.

All the best

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

I can't go to their site without thinking about a queef.

Re: Kwoff asks the question: can Australia sustain its own Digg-like site?

There's another new 'digg like' site that's just launched, Nudgeville.

www.nudgeville.com

It's being done by the guy that does Mr Gadget, pretty sure he's down in Melbourne.
