Jersey City Councilman Steve Lipski may have been unknown to most of the world before today, but things can rapidly change. Steven Lipski apparently likes a drink, but its what he did while drunk Friday that has exposed him to a wider audience.

    Nothing new here, the whole Jersey City administration is a joke - The Mayor was charged and found guilty for being drunk and resisting arrest, Councilwoman Flood employs her son with 2 jobs and he is arrested dealing in drugs near a school out of his mothers mercedes. The Mayor on a second occasion is photographed nude and drunk on his porch and front gate. The Mayor nephew and known drunk is given a job with the Jersey City Police Dept. only to kill a child and permenantly disable the mother in a car accident - He was drunk and had numerous previous convictions for DUI.
    The Capt. of the Fire Dept in JC is caught stealing goods within a home.
    The list doesn't stop there - Nepotism is alive and well in JC.
    Another council person employes a convicted sex attacker to do door to door work / surveys for them.

    It is one crazy place and nobody seems to lose their jobs and they all keep their high paying pensions on retirement.

    This is a disgrace, as it the level of corruption throughout New Jersey! I think your comments on nepotism, Louie, are very relevant and disturbing. Making a mockery of government and politics seems to be the MO of many of New Jersey's "finest". Can't the democrats do any better than Lipski or did they run out of sober choices?
