  Thanks for the link. It is up surd that stupid, hurtful rumors like this were even spread about a man who has always been a nice, honest, and genuine guy in JT. Everyone who even thinks that Jermain had anything to do with the murder are idiots. Supposedly, Pressley was pregnant with JT's baby. If so, that would have been obvious for forensics to find JT as a prime suspect. Also, JT had a fight coming up and was training for the fight because the fight was only 2 weeks after Pressley's murder. JT is a great man, and drop the lies!!!!

  I work in the town that the alleged killer is from and around here it is said she was having an affair with Jermain Taylor and his wife found out and paid the alleged killer 10,000 to kill her. His wife is from Palestine which is near Marianna Arkansas.

  The part about the sex change is just plain silly, but the half of the rumor that doesn't seem to be making its way to these on-line gossip lines is that she may have been pregnant. I can't say if that's true or not, but it makes a lot more sense than a sex-change issue.
  
  Also, the police have Vance (or whatever his name it) but that doesn't mean no one else was involved. The story I've heard from some close to the source is that she was 12 weeks pregnant and that Jermaine and/or his wife hired Vance. I suppose we'll have to wait and see what plays out, but just because they have a suspect and just because Anne was always a woman doesn't mean Jermaine wasn't involved. No one is beat to death for a purse......particularly that violently. Something else is going on - Jermaine or not.

  If anyone watched the news and all the coverage they did about Anne they did show baby pictures and high school pictures and yes she was a woman. Lying about the dead and saying such cruel things about such a wonderful person will be on the list of things that GOD will notice when you die. If Jermaine and his wife had something to do with it then GOD will take care of them and for the man that killed her I hope he rots in prison and pays for what he did to such a wonderful woman.   I do beleive he had something to do with this. Why else would his name of all people in Little Rock surface? I am from Arkansas born and raised 15 minutes from Marianna, I can't find one friend or family memeber from that area who has one bad thing to say about this Vance guy whom the media has made a "Criminal Overnight". The police said they have forensic evidence on Vance, that could be a finder print or plam print, they never said DNA, which is bodily fluid of some sort.... Jermain might not be guilty of murder but he is guilty of something...

  They did find DNA evidence read here. It doesn't say what kind of DNA I've heard its sperm, which is a good assumption in a sexual assault case.

  Also, you said you couldn't find anyone to say a "bad thing" about him. His DNA also matched DNA from a rape case of a school teacher in Marianna. Pretty sure that's a bad thing. All in all the judge released a gag order on the case but I want to know how they are going to be able to find an unbiased jury.

  I would never even think of Jermain Taylor doing such a heinous crime. I never believed the rumors, and whoever started them should be ashamed of themselves. The internet blog sites, forums, and editorials that help spread this idiotic rumor should be fired or quit what their current job. He can, and will, never be charged with anything, however because of these dumb rumors some people out there will choose ignorance and believe that JT was involved. The suspect in the case is caught, the LRPD is certain of a conviction, and I am glad they found the guy responsible!!

  No the rumor is that Anne Pressley was sleeping with Jermaine Taylor, and that Jermaine Taylor had a key to Pressley's home, which would explain the unforced entry. It is true that evidence shows Curtis Vance committed the crime, but speculation is that Jermaine paid to have it done. I'm one of the biggest Jermaine Taylor fans you'll find, and I pray to God it's not true! But whoever did this or was behind it should be punished to the utmost extreme!!!

  My theory is that homophobes are people who have gay tendencies and are so confused by their bible-belt upbringing and of course use the bible to justify their bigotry. I find it interesting that these people chose to use the Jewish laws from the Old Testement to justify their hatred but have no problem breaking the other laws themselves - including one of the top ten - Thou shal not break the Sabbath -which is Saturday btw.

  My sister's boss lives just two blocks from the Pressly house. The Taylor connection is unfounded. However, a couple of people have come forward stating that Curtis Vance was in the neighborhood the day before. He approached a maid to a residence there saying he was there to clean the gutters. The maid said that the owners already had someone that cleans the gutters. She became wary and went into the house. Another couple of ladies in the area said that Curtis Vance pulled up in his Aurora and asked them a question. Very interesting.

  JT is linked to Pressley. Of course that does not mean that he killed her. Whoever did it does in fact need to have the law enforced to the fullest........and of course since Anne was well known here in Little Rock, the accused killer or killers will not receive a fair trial. Its just not possible in this state. I'm not condoning anything and the person does need to be punished but like many from this great state of Arkansas known as the A-State (great, yeah right) a fair trial for this man is almost impossible. JT and I are cousins and I hate to see the blogs linking him to the murders. Yes he and Anne had a relationship.........long ago in high school and part of her college journey........Her parents were very strict and did not condone this relationship b/c he is black. That drove her away and they called it quits before he was known in the boxing world.

  It is just sad that someone with money thinks they can cover it up. Vance is just a fall guy. He left too much evidence behind for it not to be a rigged up deal. You can't tell me that Vance was that stupid to where he would not at least try to cover up some of it. The guy had a trail a mile long.   You REALLY need to know more about Jermain Taylor and his background with Anne Pressley before you write such things defending the man. Among commonly known facts is that he has had many affairs, strippers among them, he has fathered children outside of his marriage and there is a distinct possibility that Ms. Pressley was pregnant with his child at the time of her murder. While he did not physically commit the murder he or his wife who knew of the impending pregnency may have hired the man charged with the murder. That man is making a deal with the prosecutors before he rolls on who hired him. There is a court issued gag order on this case stating many more physical facts about the obscene physical harm done to Ms. Pressley that when publicised will show a clear pattern of that links Jermaine Taylor directly to the crime.

  I actually did not know Anne Pressly or Jermaine Taylor. I am truly sorry for the horrific death that Anne had to face. I can only pray that Jermaine Taylor and his wife are not involved. The day after Anne's beating a woman was shot in her home while taking a shower with her three children there. The media may have mention this crime 5 times, but was always shadowed by the Pressly beating. I this horrible crime had of happen to just some unknown in LR, the media would be "in their face" and the people behind the beating would have no mercy. Because the people involved are "fine upstanding citizens of Arkansas they get special treatment, and the law is protecting their reputations" I wonder just how fair that is. You see what fame and money will do for you. I Taylor and his wife are truly involved in this horrible crime, why is the law protecting their "honor"

  The rumor I heard was that jermain taylor hired curtis to kill her for him because she was pregnant with his child. Curtis is in fact the killer, but it is rumored that he was hired by talor or his wife. Can you dispute that? An autopsy report has not been released, so no one knows if she was pregnant or not. And just where did jermain taylor enter the picture anyway? He was picked by some "rumor starter" out of a hat? Where there is smoke, there is usually fire...I don't believe this is true at all, i'm just saying what I heard. And they very possibly could have had a secret relationship with out anyone knowing.

  Linda, JT and Anne dated back in high school a few times and they did have an ongoing relationship........They won't release any more information due to a gag order being put on the entire case and all information....but maybe hopefully they will be releasing information soon....but the girls that got fired at St. Vincent said that she was pregnant they just wouldn't tell the public.

  I am just saddened by the whole thing, Jermaine, Anne, all of them. Rather Vance was paid to do it or not, you can not put a price tag on a persons life. Yeah, I think that everyone deserves the truth, people have put in their monies for the reward of the capture of the killer, and I see it like this. If you put in $100 to see the capture of the killer, you deserve some kind of explanation. The only wasy rumors start is when there is some truth to something, hell, we may know more than the police do, lol. But we will never know, but I know if it were me, and someone did me like they did Anne, I would want everyone to know and know how disgusting a person can be. And want that person to serve the max sentence.

  the media and the police are never fair when it comes to arresting black people. they arent looking at the possible idea that maybe jermaine taylor did indeed have something to do with this horrible crime. taylors wife is from palastine, ar which is maybe 20 minutes from marianna, so it wasnt hard for her to run into vance. furthermore, who leaves their back door unlocked these days? ISNT IT POSSIBLE THAT MAYBE ANNE WAS EXPECTED A GUEST, AND WHAT IF THAT GUEST WAS TAYLOR? her own co worker said that anne had gotten a phone call and decided to leave the party that she was attending early. doesnt h that sound stragne. the police arent being fair because if they actually investigated the rumors about anne pressley and jermaine taylor, then it would probably tarnished her good girl image that they are portraying. if she had been black, they would be all over this story to dis credit her.

  Look, I know there are a lot of wild rumors surrounding this case...however, I do believe that there is a shred of truth to some of it.
  
  Now while I find it hard to believe that either JT or Erica would conspire to have this woman murdered, I do believe that JT was romantically involved with her. It's not a huge stretch. JT was a known playboy...and he didn't try to hide it. He has as many kids outside his marriage as he does with Erica..that's not hearsay, that's a FACT. And I find it very strange that people would just out of the blue tie JT's name with Ann for no reason. With JT's reputation, it's highly plausable that he could've been messing around with Ann. Just because that info hasn't been released by the LRPD doesn't mean it's false.
  
  As far as the pregnancy rumors are concerned, that's supposed to be true as well. I have a friend who is an RN at Baptist and he knows many nurses at St. Vincent's. He obviously didn't see Ann's medical files, but he says he got it on good authority that the nurses (the fired ones who accessed Ann's file) say that she was in fact pregnant.
  
  It's only a matter of time before it all comes out anyway.

  All this talk truly makes me sick to read..if she was having an affair with him or not its not our business at all...if this had of been some plain Jane on the street nobody would care..yes its horrible that she died this way and the person that did this should truly pay a dear price.rumors will fly and people love to talk but in the end the truth will prevail.lets all remember Anne for who she was the great smiles she brought us with her cheerful ways. there is no need for mudslinging it only hurts people..let the police do what they are paid to do and lets live our own lives. my father was murdered years back and its still an open case.were there blogs about him?..no..he was a nobody to society. my family still hurts from it and i want nothing more then the person who did this to be caught..but i cant change that he is no longer here. Everybody stop playing CSI the truth will come out so until then let it go.

  I heard that Ann was pregnant by Jermain, his wife told her if she has the baby, she is through with him. He as in Jermain paid the guy to ONLY hit her in the stomach to make her loose the baby. If they did an autopsy, then they would have discovered she was three months prenant. I refuse to give my name because you never know when they could send someone after me.

  I think that the Chad guy on here has a man crush on Jermaine Taylor. It does seem a little suspicious since not all of the details were released. Sounds like a cover up, but that's what happens when not all the details were put on the table. I'm sure the police know more than what they were saying. Of course it bothers me that so much publicity was put on this one crime. It was a horrible thing that happened to her, don't get me wrong, but if it had been anyone else we would have never have heard of it. It was a brutal incident just for a purse, so there is more to it than just that guy they arrested. So much publicity and pressure was put on LRPD to arrest someone, you can believe, someone is going down for it. I just hope they get everyone involved.

  I suspect that a portion of these "rumors" are true and certain parts have just been "added on" as the story has gone on....did anyone ever stop to consider that MORE may come out in the trial and that the police are not "tipping their hand" at this point...whatever the truth is, it will come out. I live in LR and have heard all the rumors - i do not think she was a man - was she having a "relationship" of whatever content with JT?? I suspect yes - was she preggers with his baby - i don't know,. but God does. I know FOR A FACT that JT and his wife were brought in for questioning, apparently there was not enough evidence to support bringing them in - the wife IS the cousin of Curtis Vance and i do think she paid Vance to do the job - it was a HATE crime by all the evidence. My question is - if Vance WAS paid by her to do it - why isn't he singing about it to the police- why would he take the fall and go down alone?? The truth will come out and everyone can speculate all day long...why don't we just sit tight and wait and see what unfolds.....just my thoughts!
