The Inquisitr: Hulu’s georetardation policies now officially beyond a joke

Shut uppppp!! What if NBC are making the mistake and then the fix it! Nothing to see here, everything is fine!

Molly, it's a nice line, but I don't believe it to be true. The georetardation has a direct relationship to resell rights, for example NBC sells a show to Channel 7 in Australia. The clips aren't resold, they are part of general rights packages between networks, where they swap news stuff where relevant (and for memory, NBC with 7, CBS with 9). It's not a mistake, there's no money in these clips worth protecting, hence they are free to view

I Hope your right. SNL is on Foxtel and you think they would want the programs locked.
    Anyway.

    Hahah angry much?

But I also totally agree. Hulu is amazing, but the "georetardation" is only slightly removed from the "fuck the Internet" attitude the major media entities have adopted since the dawn of time, and have changed only recently in regards to video.

Two possibilities: either they're too stupid to put the clips up, or they're so weak they can't get approval to put the clips up.

    Either way, they suck.
