  • i think ballhype and showhype is more a comment on the ignorance of people with too much money and no ideas, not about the brilliance of the creators .... lots of stupidity in the world, even the tech world!!
  • Actually, the creators of ballhype are brilliant. They've done some really god work in the sports blogging arena. They paid attention and created a site that fits into a niche. I may not be original, but it was executed well. Digg Sports really sucks and I was looking for something similar where I could find latest posts from fellow Sports bloggers. I picked my favorite teams and I have the latest 5 posts for those teams on my ballhype sidebar. They've also done a bit more than digg with groups and games and a lot of my traffic comes from there. Good people who worked hard and have now been rewarded. Nothing wrong with that.
