    I agree with you, this is exciting. But I have been a cynic in this cae because it seems so bogus and I hate it when these hoaxes get us excited for a disappointment. Al Capones vault, Alien Autopsy Roswell and so many others. If these guys were legit they would have the body at the conference instead more bogaus pictures and a DNA printout. I'm not ruling out the existence of a Bigfoot....but I think this is a hoax. These guys have hoaxed before...look them up on the net.

"

    Fake. The two pictures are exactly the same. The black and white one was changed to make it look like old picture/new picture. You can tell because of the lighting. Unless they were taking at the same exact time of day, during the same time of year, with no external forces (how about decay, bugs, or other animals). Plus, why would the thing be frozen, ever?

    why does having two pictures that are the same make something a fake? i'm not sure why one is b&w, but since this is a recent find, i don't think anyone is trying to make it look old for any reason.

    i have two photos of my car- i hope it's not a fake.

    they froze the body to preserve it. i think that's common w hunters. that's what my family did when the wanted to preserve something for the taxidermist.

    Having two of the same photos show up in different styles is very suspicious. I would think nothing of it if this was a photo from the 60’s, but this is supposed to be very recent. The b&w photo is not only worse than a photocopy you can tell it went through photo manipulation by adding an “old film theme” that you can get from any camera software. It looks like a photoshop ‘gaussian blur’ filter effect applied to it. Why go through this trouble? Either they know how fake it looks and wanted to distort it up a bit to make it harder to catch on, or they wanted to capture the look of the old original 60’s big foot picture. I just don’t get how in the modern day of 2008 and electronic publishing, a picture a few days old ends up looking like it was from the 60’s with a fold mark on it.
    If it were real we shouldn’t be looking at this one fake looking picture but at a whole batch of slide show of pictures.
    It appears that they threw some guts on top to make it look like the guts came from him. They even cleaned all the blood off the guts too. (I’m sure you don’t want to ruin such an expensive costume)
    The body apparently has no skeleton inside it. If it was stuffed into a tight freezer it shows there is 0 shoulder structure. The body would have naturally turned sideways to allow the shoulders and the rest of the skeleton to fit and adjust to its natural position. This body looks somewhat hallow and probably stuffed with news paper or foam. Its body position looks like how my kid’s puppet looks at the bottom of the toy box.
    It’s funny this is being claimed by a site called www.searchingforbigfoot.com. It’s kinda like someone finding and alien from www.AliensAreReal.com. The only thing missing from this whole event is they missed April 1st.

    If this is a prank, these guys should be FINED for all the time and money the press paid to come out and video it on Friday. It looks pretty good, but the things people can do these days to make fakes look so real is pretty impressive. As of right now, I think these guys are fakes, and if they are, they need to have some kind of actions taken against them for bringing the press all the way out there from all across the country.

    Could it be? One would like to think so. But, having such shitty camera shots makes you think this is just another hoax. The pix are just terrible quality in a day where a terrible camera takes better quality pixs.     First of all, real or not, the Georgia slams are unneccesary. That's pretty offensive and only shows the ignorance of the one making the comment. I travel all over the country doing installations for Dell and I can promise you that no state is short on ignorant people.

    The part of the picture (if I'm reading you right) that prompted the "guts" question, is actually the last remaining puddle of ice at the time. One of my questions is why they didn't take a picture the minute they found it. I sure as heck wouldn't have waited till I had it in a block of ice (which accidently thawed in the frost free freezer) with no prior to the thawing. Maybe they are holding those back if they exist at all. Like the Nov elections, I'm not calling this one before the results are in.

    These guys are experienced hunters from Georgia. I don't know any serious hunter that doesn't know everything about deep freezers. Every hunter I know has a deep freezer for their kills. I don't buy the story about theese guys not knowing how to use the freezer and broke it with adding water.

    What are they comparing the DNA to? How will DNA prove it is a bigfoot? How will they prove it is a real DNA report? Who did the DNA report? How much were they paid? What part of the 'body' was used to test the DNA? Where was the body found? Where is the body now? Being the experts bigfoot hunters they are, I'm sure they would have used GPS to plot the locations of all their sightings...What a crock of shite

    Okay. Wait a minute. Wasn't there an incident where a group of people (I want to say at the beginning of the 20th century, but I'm not 100 percent sure) found a completely intact, frozen mammoth and they ate it? People do not so smart things all the time and only realize in hindsight that they could/should have done something else. I'm keeping an open mind until Friday. But I agree with the guy above who said he wants to see it in National Geographic before he's a believer. New species are found all the time. Granted, they usually are not nearly 8 feet tall and 500 pounds.

    I grew up in the north georgia mountains. While some it is a wilderness, most of it is very well traveled by hunters, fishermen, hikers, vacationers and intersected by many roads and interstates and towns. Of course I've never seen anything like this, or even heard a rumor of such an animal. Its very large and there would need to be a breeding population. I just don't see it being somthing like this being able to go unnoticed for so long.

    Why is everyone even making a judgment yet?? I mean if it is fake than a few things will tell us on friday. It got stolen, or they will say they will release the results later and just keep dragging it out, until it does get stolen.
    If it is real than they will have good pictures, good DNA and real experts with serious careers at stake that are saying it is real.
    I hope it is real, I have no opinion on that yet cause I did see the youtube vids of these goobers and it just seems impossible!! But, we will see Friday, and if Friday comes and there is still some doubt, that will mean it is fake!! Reall simple!!

    I just called the hotel in Palo Alto that the conference is being held at.

    The employee on the phone informed me that there IS a conference scheduled there from 12:00 - 1:00, he said that YES it was concerning "Bigfoot" and it is not open to the public. He also said they have little to no info on the conference itself, that he did not provide.

You think the "creature" went this long with out being captured/ spotted/ confirmed to exist. When you look at their web site it just screams scam!!! They are just giving everyone a nibble so everyone will bite when they ask for money here real soon. I would like this to be real just for the coolness factor, but we all know if they did in fact find one, it will be the beginning of the end for Big Foot. This will push people to fund expeditions all over the place to actually capture a living one so we can pay a nickel to throw some popcorn at it.

    Apparently it took them a day and a half to trek back to where they found the body, so they could show Bigfoot hunter Biscardi the site. Now, I don't know much about Bigfoot hunting, but it's a safe bet the 2 hunters had tranquilizer guns, actual guns and, what, netting. So these two guys presumably carried all this kit into the forest and then back out, while they somehow managed to also carry a 2 metre tall, 230kg, decaying corpse???

    I'd love this to be true. But we all know it's bullsh...

    There is another big hoax going down in a place called 'Georgia' right now, except that one is designed to secure oil and war profits and it's even using real bombs and a real death toll. But it's still just a giant stage production designed to fool the globe into behaving a certain way while the real motives are (badly) hidden.

The fact that he's only willing to present photos and so-called 'DNA' evidence (which can only prove inconclusive and debatable forever and ever to keep the speculation storm blowing while he sells videos and other crapola) is the giveaway. Keeping secrets in this line of work is a giveaway. Does it make sense for somebody so determined to bring the light of truth to the world to be rationing out evidence?     of all the urban legends, I want this one to be true...I've been obsessed with the Bigfoot legend since I was a child, and if this is a hoax, it's going to be so disappointing to me. I watched a special about Bigfoot hunters and they found hairs in a tree that forensic scientists couldn't match up to anything known in the human/animal DNA patterns, and toeprints on plaster casts of footprints, so maybe it is true. I really hope it is.....

    I am very excited to hear the results on this find. I am sceptical but because I have been a Bigfoot enthusiast for so long I want to believe it may be real. However so many of these findings have been a hoax. There is however the footage from Bluff Creek which has not been deemed a hoax. I will be following this story to the end. However I will be a little concerned if it turns out to be real because It says at the end of time we will start to see things and hear about things that have not been heard of before. This would definitely fall into that category! God bless you all.

If you photoshop the shadows out of that picture, you will see clearly that it is the same costume with a thin fake tongue, and some bad fake teeth that aren't even in the mouth.     This is very exciting. I personally think it is real, and that they should return it to the area in which it was found. They are probably smarter than we are, because we can't seem to find them or hunt them too succesfully. FOOT's family is probably looking for their member's body, just as we would our own, to bury him. They said others were sited in the area he was found, when they found him.     I think it's about time someone caught a Bigfoot! Thousands of people every year see them, but nobody has ever had a body to show for it. But I do have to admit, why did they think of putting it in a freezer first instead of calling 911 for police to get it. Because if they put pictures of it on the Internet, then a bunch of people are just going to think that it's fake.

    It could be real. Lots of things thought to be mythological proved to be true.

    However as this is so freaking fashionable over here shouldn't a palentologist/anthropologist or some other genius with a stack of PHD's already have been on TV and said the claim of a unknown lifeform being killed is true and we are looking into the matter. Go away until we map his dna. Also this would be getting ALOT more than a little spot on the news, it would be getting the OJtreatment, but I guess the current lackluster outcome could be caused by all the managers for the news channels being stoned or such so it doesn't disprove it.

    the only thing i can see to sway me either way is, and i know its nothing big, but the hose going into the freezer. And thats why it intrigues me. a hose in there suggests they were transporting water in or out of the freezer. Now, why would you need to do that if it was fake? You wouldnt. And i dont think someone who would hoax this would be smart enough to put a detail as small as the hose in the shot. So, i guess that very small detail and the relevence behind it makes me kinda think its real. although that face looks awfully fake ill admit. At any rate. itd be cool to know that it does exist. We can only prove that its true after all. We'll never be able to "prove" that its fake
