This is great, I am surprised it took them this long. It really helps the SEO. Comments are so important to a blogs survival, I am glad to see that they are supporting it now.

Yes, that would be nice. Having the comments rendered on the page is an important part of the SEO process. The use of Javascript has hindered some blogs, as the comments don't appear as page updates to the search engines, and people using commenting as a form of advanced link building get frustrated when their comment links don't appear on the page too.
