  • I also praise the Disqus customer service -- my deleted threads were showing up on my Disqus community page (a serious issue because some posts where deleted b/c of conflicts of interest). Daniel and the team fixed the issue within the hour.

  • I had a totally opposite experience with Disqus. Had a major issue (IMHO) when old comments didn't migrate over. I got no response on the Disqus help forum (or via email to support). Then I commented on a post on AVC about Disqus that my experience sucked (and then suddently I got some attention). Only later to find out that Disqus doesn't support comment migration on Typepad (which was totally not clear up front and the instructions are very misleading on this topic). So now I'm left to roll-back which sucks because I have Disqus comments and old Typepad comments. This was supposed to be easy. More at http://www.altgate.com/.
  • Hi Thanks for this post. I got hold of searching for and integrated solution. Would it not be nice if the comment systems from Disqus and FriendFeed could be integrated? I see there's already a debate on about the issue http://disqus.disqus.com/friendfeed/

  • Disqus is the revolution of commenting in web 2.0. A definite move up from the standard blog comment system, and one that is going to be around for a long time hopefully.

  • I've had to engage Disqus support twice since I started using it. They responded very quick and took care of the issue both times. Before Disqus I tried Intense Debate and have to say that their support was a little slower to respond compared to the folks at Disqus.

  • YOu've really got me interested in friendfeed now. I like Disqus and was looking for something like friendfeed but found a lot of garbage information out there. Thanks for the insight and I'll look into this. I really would like to connect with more people llike me who just love fishing!

  • Can we say "WOW"!? How about "above and beyond"? "Going the extra mile"? I was going to email him back about this problem later today, but he beat me to the punch and I’m surprised beyond words.This issue had absolutely nothing to do with why I originally emailed support nor did my problem involve him needing to really check my website. Despite this, he did a check up on my hrsaccount site anyway! Everything was resolved quickly and easily. I’d say this is the best customer service I’ve ever received and it’s giving me butterflies.
