    As a graduate of Carleton University living in Sydney I would like to make it clear the actions of CUSA (the student union) rarely represent those of the student body. This is an international disgrace for Carleton University and hopefully it can be resolved.

    Another disgraceful event in CUSA history was them attempting to block a local Rabbi's honourary degree because he opposed same-sex marriage. (Google: CUSA Rabbi Bulka).

    Cathleen Morrison is the chief executive officer of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation not of Shinerama.
    Shineramas executive is the student union officers and its volunteers. This student council is run by a bunch of racist, bigoted, misandrists. One hopes that all of their names get posted on the WWW so when future employers google their names they will think twice about hiring this cretins. I guess by their logic they shouldn't support breast cancer either. Thanksfully Steven is right this is the actions of the council and not the actions or wishes of the student body. Cartoon U has gone down hill over the past twenty years. Last Chance U's executive committee has shamed this once fine institution even further.

    And I suppose that the 5 billion American Taxpayers spend in Africa, courtesy of an initiative by President Bush, means that nobody cares about "non white" diseases. What a bunch of idiots. See what happens when you eat moose meat and have socialized medicine?

    Please don't stereotype all Carleton U students, and ESPECIALLY don't stereotype Canadians. There is outrage all over Canada at the irresponsibility of the CUSA motion and how they've tarnished the reputation of the university.

    Don't forget this was passed on the votes of 17 CUSA members (2 people voted against the motion), and the local student body is ardently working to get the person who set forth the motion, the person who seconded it, and the president impeached. CUSA is infamous within Carleton University for being over-political and useless, and now because of the controversy they've really shot themselves in the foot. Students are up in arms over this, and things will be very different when the next CUSA election comes around.

    And please don't be ridiculous in your stereotypes. You are welcome to disagree with the current medical system (some Canadians don't agree with it anyways), but for goodness sake, no one eats moose meat, no more than Americans eat bald eagles.
