I still think there are passionates/enthusiasts/early-adopters for all kinds of products, like:
-wine
-sporting goods
-automobiles
-camera equipment
-designer clothing
-power tools
-gourmet cookware
It just so happens that tech's early adopters also know how to use tools to shout globally and they have an audience.
Let's just be friendly guides and help anyone who wants or needs help.
