That's so stupid. I hate the headlines "a man is having a baby" That's idiotic. It's a woman who had a sex change but kept the parts required to have a baby. That's it. Plain and simple. My fiance could get a sex change and 9 months from now could have a baby using the lady parts she was born with. Just because she has a penis and a mustache, it's newsworthy?

Get the F out. I hate america sometimes.

This really is crazy. She is not a man. She was born a woman and will, until the day she dies, BE a woman. So, trying to change herself into a man is her choice. Please don't get it confused people.
Take Notes: If there was a man born with his own male sexual organs, and somehow on down the line he became pregnant. THEN he came be claimed as a "pregnant man."
But in this case, she was born a woman and had a sex change. She's no man.

Hope you and your family are doing good and staying stronge. Everyone needs to let them live there life. And stop bothering them. They are people just like us. And don't deserve to be spoken bad of. I think its a beautiful thing fr him to be able to give hid wife a baby. Since she wasn't able to have one. Stay strong and ignore what any body has to say. Take care of your family.

I really don't get this at all, I'm alot like lisa. She was born a woman, and will remain one until she dies. I don't care how many damn hormones she takes, to make her grow facial hair like a man. SHE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A WOMAN. She's not a man.

I have to say that I think this is a wonderful thing. Anyone who disagrees or is being rude or hateful should be knocked out...cold. Just because it became newsworthy for one reason or another doesn't give you the right to spread your hatred and bigotry. This is AMERICA! A place that was built on preserving the right to live our lives without hatred hanging over our heads for the choices that we make. I think it's beautiful coming from a woman that CANNOT have my own children. Ever...because of someone who was hateful and bigoted. I would love to have someone who loved me enough to carry my children...as THOMAS has chosen to do for HIS wife and to further HIS family. If you don't like it....suck it up!!!!!!!

Jenasea i definitley agree with what you say about Thomas' pregnancy as being a wonderful thing, cause when you think about it it really is, not many men would have the balls to do what he's doing and i myself applaud him for what he's done for Nancy and himself if people want to focus on BIG NEWS they need to look at rape, murder and other big crimes instead of focusing on one man doing a good deed for his family and his family alone, i mean c'mon what's this world coming to, how can any one live a simple life when the media and the whole world population makes you afraid to even walk out your front door, great comment and god bless

I was wondering what the hell?? Then I thought men dont even have the organs or the hormones that are capable to have a baby....when they said transgendered...I thought that meant he/she...he had both..but no...he was born a woman and then had taken hormones to be a man..that is not a man...

Poor baby..if the world is not bad enough....now what is next? Talk about a future psycho...

wow people,
i just want to say iv'e seen the biography of thomas and nancy, ive read stories and all the comments too that you negtive people right, and first off, even if thomas was a women thats fine HE is not now, HE is a loving father to susan and father to be who is provideing for his family dispite his current sexuality if the united states reconizes him and MALE the guess what HE is, you people need to let go. and stop grungeing against this family. oh and no i am not bi, les, or trans, i am a married female who thinks what thomas is doing is perfectly fine, these negative comments have got too be from activests, older people who are set in there old ways, or and i gay people. well first off he is not les he is a man says on his birth certificate and he would not have been able to marry nancy if otherwise saw as a male. old people give it up it is a new world new generation, and gay activest come one please try harder, love is love oh now for the fun part you all will love this:
OH, men news flash, men do produce a female hormone not much of it but they do in history men BREST fed there children with the spouce GO FIGURE how is that possible if the hormone was not there. and second off MEN do have the space in there abdomen for an egg to implant i can tell you if you will carry full term i am sure you can with hormone injections and a c-section, oh and my personal fav in the womb your all female to start off with. men get there go-nads at 9 weeks gestation.
SO, leave this poor man alone do you dam reserch and shut your mouth. kinda funny how things work.
